clouds gathering over head
and I can not escape them
pain like this never bleeds
just dry my eye every now and then

i face these fears with myself
i push away with all I can
but they beckon me to return
be safe until a better plan

intoxicating state of mind
familiar sting to restore
darkness descending over me
the lack of air drops me to the floor

it took only just one a small mistake
but it grew into a thing you can’t escape
inside your mind not giving you a break
anxiety is written on your face
you want to just leave get out of this place
no need to go on having this give chase

you try to out wait the rain
falling down on top of you

but not exactly what to do

you can’t change all the way
the self you see in your eyes
but trying to change out side of you
is harder then the first lie

with all the people that I meet
